Basic Care Steps For Cut Eustoma
- Once they’ve arrived, trim 2 to 5 cm off their stems with a sharp, clean clipper. Make sure to remove any lower leaves so they don’t hang in water.
- Clean your vase before filling it with water, and add in flower food as needed.
- Eustomas require a lot of water, so keep the vase topped up regularly.

EUSTOMA: A HISTORY
There are two classifications for this eye-catching bloom: The original classification, Lisianthus Rusellianus, and the current classification, Eustoma Grandiflorum. The former roughly translates to “dissolving flower” in Greek, while the latter means “beautiful mouth”. While the latter sounds less elegant and refined, it’s hard to argue against it when the flower bears a slight resemblance.
