Brass Lion Distillery

Brand Highlights: Local, Women-led

The idea to start Brass Lion Distillery started back in 2012 when they were looking for a spirit crafted here in Singapore. There was none. So Brass Lion Distillery embarked on a six-year journey to create its flagship spirit—the Singapore Dry Gin, to truly encapsulate the heart of Singapore,

Jamie’s first foray into the world of spirits started with the opening of the legendary Chupitos Shots Bar in Clarke Quay, followed by The Beast Southern Kitchen & Bourbon Bar. A love of gin and experimentation, combined with the lack of local Singaporean spirits, led her on a journey to master the art and science of distillation under master distillers all over the world.

“We really wanted a truly Singaporean product, one that we can say was made in Singapore, by Singaporeans. That is the reason why we were determined, against all odds, to open in Singapore .” Jamie K., Founder.

Singapore Dry Gin

Multi award-winning Singapore Dry Gin, crafted with classic gin botanicals, aromatic torch ginger flower, and citrusy lemongrass to produce a smooth, vibrant spirit.

Pahit Pink Gin

A take on the classic Pink Gin with a distinctively Singaporean twist. Crafted with house-made Singapore Bitters and The Singapore Dry Gin, this is a full-bodied spiced gin best sipped on the rocks or paired with ginger ale.

The Pink Gin was first popularised by the British Royal Navy as a remedy for sea sickness in colonial Malaya. A mix of Gin and Bitters, it soon became known in the region as Gin Pahit – Pahit translates to “bitter” in Malay.

Butterfly Pea Gin

A harmonious blend of their Singapore Dry Gin with lavender and butterfly pea flower. This gin has a floral top note, and a rich blue hue that morphs into a soft lilac shade with citrus added.
