Left-Handesign is Singapore’s first plantable and sustainable stationery & lifestyle brand that aims to encourage eco-friendly gifting. This way, we can all spread happiness and love to our friends and family, while keeping our environment in mind at the same time!
Their products are all zero-waste, spreading their belief in ‘Use’ and ‘Grow’ instead of ‘Use’ and ‘Throw’. In collaboration with Grow Trees, Left-Handesign has a ‘Plant a Tree‘ initiative that have planted 300 trees so far, providing jobs for others and reducing Co2. Their aim is to plant 20,000 trees by 2025 for different causes, with the current cause (as of 2021) being the Forest & Wildlife for Sundarbans National Park, West Bengal for Tigers.
Left-Handesign also works with partners and manufacturers in India who strongly follow the same ethos of educating about sustainability and zero-waste, creating job opportunities for underprivileged women in India.

Plantable Pen
Plant the pen for a Morning Glory or Tomato plant! Remove the ink refill once done, and plant the pen in soil. Add a little water everyday and make sure there is enough sunlight. The pen is completely biodegradable, and will sprout in 15 days. Give it more time and loving, and ta-dah! You can wake up every morning and enjoy your newly grown plant!
Plantable Pencil
Plant the pencil for a Carrot, Marigold or Basil plant! Place in soil after use, give it some sunlight & water, and you’re good to go. Seeds & paper are organic and fair-traded from Uttarakhand.
Plantable Mini Colour Pencils
Plant your Colour Pencils into 10 different herbs like Tomato, Mustard, Marigold, Basil, Spinach, Onion, Brinjal, Beans, Coriander! Mini colour pencils will arrive unsharpened in a pack of 10.
