Boxgreen was started locally in 2014, and they create snacks with ingredients that are natural and free from artificial flavouring and colouring. Their snacks are constantly reviewed by an in-house nutritionist, ensuring they are delicious and nutritious!
As much as possible, Boxgreen seeks to source regionally to reduce the carbon footprint of bringing ingredients from across the world and to support regional farmers. Additionally, they are focused on reducing the amount of material used in their packaging—all of their boxes are made with recycled material, and are 100% recyclable. While their snack packaging contains plastic, they’re constantly looking for ways to improve by reducing the amount of plastic used.
Boxgreen also works closely with ex-offenders in Singapore via training programmes and employment opportunities. They believe that everyone should have a second chance and an opportunity to contribute to the wider community, and gainful employment helps to achieve this by building dignity, self-esteem and a sense of purpose.
